Bailey is a fun-loving 11-year-old who enjoys all sorts of sports, including baseball, wrestling, and skiing. His favorite baseball team is the NY Yankees and he’s a huge fan of players Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez. Bailey also enjoys school, and his favorite subjects are science, social studies, and health.

As an infant, Bailey suffered frequently from bouts of pneumonia. At 16 weeks old, he was tested for and diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. This condition clogs the lungs with mucus and can lead to life-threatening lung infections and also disrupts digestion. Bailey frequently suffers from lung infections and is treated with a percussion vest and daily medications. He was recently diagnosed with pseudomonas infection and is having a hard time fighting the bacteria even with monthly treatments.

For his wish, Bailey wants to meet his favorite NY Yankees player, Derek Jeter!
