That wasn’t the last that Kids Wish Network would see of this amazing cast, either. At the U.S. premiere of the fifth film of the Harry Potter series The Order of the Phoenix, the very bright and bubbly Texan, Diana, received a special wish! In 2007, Diana was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, which is a cancer of the lymphatic system. Soon afterwards, she began undergoing intense and aggressive chemotherapy treatments. Diana had a very difficult time with her treatments; in addition to losing her hair, she became extremely ill after each session and missed several months of school. Diana must be watched closely by her doctors and has monthly CAT scans to monitor her condition.

Later that same year, Diana was given the opportunity to experience the dream of so many film and fiction fans across the globe: meeting some of her favorite celebrities! Her and her family were whisked away to Los Angeles for the red carpet event. She met many members of the Harry Potter cast, including Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) and Imelda Staunton (Dolores Umbridge). After the premiere, Diana got to sit and chat with Emma Watson (Hermione Granger); she hung out and joked around with superstar Daniel Radcliffe; and posed cheek-to-cheek with Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley). Quite a wish-come-true, indeed!
